Make your own sausages – in the of Regensburg´s old town
The Weisswurst breakfast is somewhat of an institution in Regensburger. After all, this city has been home to the indispensable Händlmaier Weisswurst mustard for over 100 years.

People meet for a casual pint of wheat beer and of course need something to nibble on in between. The perfect opportunity for some fresh Weisswürste! While making these Bavarian veal sausages is no mean feat, it´s not witchcraft either. We´ll show you how. And you´ll also learn how to make Bratwurst.

Together with an expert from the family-run DEUTSCH butcher´s shop, you can make your own Weisswürste or Bratwürste.
You´ll learn the recipe, the weighing and cutting process, and how to fill the sausages meat into the natural skins.
The Weisswürste are then boiled, and the Bratwürste grilled, before being enjoyed there and then with a pretzel and some sweet Händlmaier mustard.
